about

these are the first in a series of releases that span the last 18 years of my production. these are circa 1999-2004.

in the cover, you see digital audio tapes. they were recorded on my trusty Tascam DA20 (still in service and occasional use today), directly off of a yamaha rm800, 24 channel, analog desk.. and have been transfered directly to .wav format. those tapes are 60, 90 or 120 minutes. all of them are full of 5-6 minute songs/tracks. with no more than 5 seconds between them. look at the numbers on the spines... tell me how many tracks that is... alot. enjoy.

these tracks somehow never made it to final releases, either forgotten, passed over, or simply labeled not as desirable for the particular label or release at the time. they have sat, waiting on dats, drives, or cd's to somehow have life. now is there time. i offer them to you with a bit of sadness as if i'm seeing my teenage children leave for the university. that is what they are to me: my children.

released December 22, 2016

all tracks were concieved, written and produced in the first iteration of the synthdrome: my apartment. there, they were brought into being and given life.
